What is Thanksgiving in Dubai like?
When I first moved to Dubai, 11 years ago, there wasn’t many Americans in Dubai however I did get invited to a friend’s house to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. That was my 1st ever thanksgiving and I really enjoyed it.
As the years have gone by, it’s now more common to meet US citizens in Dubai and thus Thanksgiving has become more common to be available both as a dine in option or for home delivery.
There still isn’t a large amount of hotels and restaurants doing Thanksgiving dinners compared to other holidays but you still have a decent amount of options. Most Americans I’ve met still celebrate it at home or have a group meet up with other Americans.
You can also get a turkey from Dubai supermarkets to cook at home.
