Plus in the city of luxury, of course, you want some options that truly go ALL out! So here’s a list that offers a range of options for a range of prices to truly make your Valentine’s Day special!
1) Take a hot air balloon ride across the desert
This is not just your ordinary hot air balloon ride over Dubai’s desert, oh no! This is a full luxury experience starting with a journey into the desert via a Land Rover Defender, a tour inside the Royal Reserve and a carefully crafted breakfast by a Michelin-star chef after your hot air balloon ride.
A truly magical way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and show your special someone how much you love them.

So you’ll have to get up early for this one, but beating the crowds and feeling like you (almost) have the Burj Khalifa all to yourselves is truly worth it for a memorable romantic experience!
It’s more affordable going for the sunrise option but your date doesn’t need to know that! *wink wink* Plus you’ll get a free coffee and pastry from the ground floor cafe included in the ticket price!
To book the sunrise option, simply select the day you want and select the “Sunrise: Level 124” ticket option.
4) Have a romantic lunch on a private yacht
If you prefer a daytime activity vs the evening, this is the ideal option and one of the ultimate Dubai experiences. After all, what’s more Dubai than sailing past several iconic buildings on a luxury yacht?
I highly recommend to do a late lunch and timing the end for the sunset. You can ask the yacht crew to stop, either at Burj Al Arab, Atlantis or Dubai Marina as the sun sets. Plus take some incredible photos that you’ll remember forever here too.
Relax in total privacy and enjoy a gourmet meal either from your own food which staff can cook onboard or order directly with the yacht company. I’ve had a seafood lunch previously which was simply incredible!
Also the weather in February is just perfect for this kind of activity!

5) Sit under the stars in the desert with food and entertainment
If you’re both the more adventurous types, this is the perfect option for you!
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a magical BBQ dinner in the Dubai desert, surrounded by golden dunes under a starlit sky. Before finally spending the night under the stars in an authentic desert camp.
Sit either on a table or more cozy with traditional Khaleeji floor cushions, surrounded by soft lantern lights and an authentic Arabian ambience.

So while it might not be Venice, this is the closest you can get to it in Dubai! In their Frenchville area.
Plus you can enjoy a beautiful stroll along with canals after and enjoy some tasty nibbles from the many food options.
