Dubai is a city known for its world records, towering skyscrapers and breathtaking views. It’s one of the most spectacular destinations on the planet, with plenty of fantastic restaurants to match. If you’re looking for the best restaurants in Dubai with a view, you’re in the right place.
Whether you want lunch, dinner or drinks on a rooftop or a fine dining restaurant with panoramic vistas, here are the best view restaurants across the whole of Dubai.
I’ve spent way too much money on dining out in Dubai, and I first moved to Dubai in 2013. I’m also a total foodie and gained the Dubai stone when I first arrived. However, I couldn’t give you this amazing list without it.
So here’s to enjoying the best view Dubai restaurants, and thank goodness our buildings have gyms in them!
Restaurant with a Dubai Marina View
1. Penthouse at FIVE, Palm Jumeirah
This rooftop bar and restaurant located on the 16th floor is part of FIVE Hotel on Palm Jumeirah. It has incredible views over Dubai Marina and serves some very tasty sushi! They also have tacos, steak and other dishes if sushi isn’t your thing.
It definitely has more of a party vibe than just a restaurant. Saturdays, in particular, are for brunch. Thus, the evening is filled with the lively crowd post-brunch, so be warned if that’s not what you want. In the week and earlier evenings are quieter.
The venue offers both indoor and outdoor open-air seating, making it one of the best Palm Jumeirah restaurants with a view. I went here for a friend’s 30th Birthday party and it was a lot of fun!
It also has a pool, which is usable during the day for the Saturday brunch if you want a lively, unique brunch with an incredible view!

2. The Observatory Bar & Grill at Marriott Harbour, Dubai Marina
If you’re looking for the best restaurants, Dubai Marina has many different styles! One of the classics of Dubai, The Observatory, opened in 2003. This bar and restaurant is regularly voted as one of the best Dubai restaurants with a view.
The outlook over Dubai Marina is amazing and the food is really good too. Especially their steak! As you may guess by the name, they’re focused on grilled meat and seafood.
One of my personal favourites for dinner with a view. I met my husband here for a first date, as he’d never visited Dubai before, and I wanted him to experience a unique thing to do in Dubai.
This hotel stands at an amazing height of 256m (840 ft). The restaurant and bar are on the 52nd floor and offer 360 panoramic views overlooking Dubai Marina.
You can choose to sit in the restaurant area or the lounge area. It’s pretty large as it’s the entire 52nd floor.
This is also one of the few places where it isn’t open air, so if it’s a windy day or you prefer being enclosed. This is a great option and definitely wins my vote as the best restaurant in Dubai for bringing guests.

3. Atelier M at Pier 7, Dubai Marina
There are several restaurants to choose from in Pier 7, depending on the food you prefer, and many of the floors have amazing views of Dubai Marina. Atelier M sits on the very top with its rooftop bar and restaurant.
The building itself, Pier 7, is short compared to many others on this list. Despite being only seven floors high, the direct view of Dubai Marina makes it the best view in Dubai Marina!
The venue has both an enclosed lower floor and an upper open-air rooftop, which is why it’s one of the best restaurants in Dubai Marina with a view, serving Mediterranean food.
Atelier is famous for its ladies’ nights and you’ll find it’s full of people on a Tuesday due to this. I’ve been here on a few occasions with friends. It had a great atmosphere, and lots of people were dancing.

4. Pure Sky Lounge & Dining at Hilton, The Walk JBR
Located on the 35th floor, this rooftop bar has beautiful views over Dubai Eye and towards the sea. Located in The Walk, it’s a lovely place to walk around before or after your food.
They’ve expanded their menu from mostly tapas and small bites. They now offer burgers, salads and grills along with offering a beautiful sunset brunch and a mid-week ladies’ and gents’ night.
It’s known for tasty cocktails and a relaxing vibe. Watching the sunset is particularly fabulous.
I love the sea breeze being an open-air lounge; it is so refreshing! Voted as ‘Best Rooftop Dubai’ by tourists and residents alike.

5. Paros at Taj, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT)
Set on the 46th floor, this rooftop lounge is perfect and has won ‘Best Rooftop Bar’ along with ‘Best Ladies Night’ in recent years.
The venue has 360 views of Dubai, looking out across JLT and Dubai Marina. You can choose either an outdoor open-air setting or an indoor seating area like the above.
Named after the Greek island Paros, you won’t be surprised to find Greek Mediterranean food on the menu and your favourite Greek classics are all here.
It’s refreshing to see a more classic menu instead of the very common sushi, steak & pasta combo that many Dubai hot spots seem to love!

One of the newest restaurants on the list, this option is perfect for those who don’t like heights but still want a nice view. The Pods overlook Dubai Marina and the ocean while still being firmly on the ground floor.
Originally from London, The Pods is one of Dubai’s most unique dining experiences. The restaurant serves a mixture of Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Korean dishes. So whether you’re craving sushi or dim sum, this restaurant has a selection of both.

7. Al Muntaha at Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah
Located on the 27th floor with views over the sea, this is a unique addition to the restaurant with a view of Dubai list. This is the only Michelin-starred restaurant in the Burj Al Arab. Serving French and Italian cuisine.
The only way to access the Burj Al Arab is either to stay at the hotel or make a reservation in one of their restaurants, making it one of the most exclusive places to visit.
This is definitely not a budget-friendly option, but the food is absolutely incredible and worth the price. The service is impeccable to match.
This is also another option that is enclosed.
If you prefer an open-air venue, Sal is another great option at Burj Al Arab on the deck terrace and offers a full menu. The service and food are always impeccable in all of them!
The Burj Al Arab afternoon tea is no longer served here but in the lobby instead.
Insider tip – A minimum spend applies in all of the Burj Al Arab restaurants and lounges, however, if you’ve been at another restaurant in Burj Al Arab, you can ask the staff to reserve a table for another and they’ll typically waive the minimum spend. So you can explore the other bars or restaurants for less money!

8. Sushi Samba at St Regis, Palm Jumeirah
A hugely popular restaurant in Dubai, Sushi Samba is a successful international brand with locations in New York, Las Vegas, London & Amsterdam. The Dubai branch is set inside Palm Tower with stunning views across Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.
The restaurant serves Brazilian fusion food, which is hugely popular in São Paulo, where Japanese immigrants influenced the South American food culture. This created a new type of cuisine with Brazilian, Peruvian and Japanese flavours. Yum!

9. Dinner in the Sky at Al Sufouh, Dubai Marina
This one perhaps doesn’t fully classify as a restaurant since it has no building except a welcome centre. It is a permanent experience in Dubai, located close to Skydive Dubai.
Definitely not for the fainted-hearted, as you’ll be hoisted up using a crane to enjoy a 90-minute meal in the sky.
They serve the same 3-course menu daily with a choice of starters, mains and desserts. The mains have an option of beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian. The starter is an Italian burrata or Arabic mezze and the dessert is a choice of a fruit salad or chocolate lava cake.
Part of the experience is getting lifted up, which is a bit slow. You’ll have around an hour to enjoy the food once you’re up, so it can feel a bit rushed. It’s still a really cool experience to tick off your Dubai bucket list!

10. Mercury Rooftop at Four Seasons, Jumeirah
This rooftop lounge and restaurant, part of the stunning Four Seasons hotel in Jumeirah, is a favourite of Dubai residents. It offers stunning views towards Downtown Dubai with the Burj Khalifa in the distance.
Shisha is available, cocktails are incredible and they are also known for their tasty food. Offering steaks, seafood and pasta. I love that it has a lively atmosphere but still a relaxed style for one of the best outdoor restaurants in Dubai!
At one point, I pretty much used to come here every weekend cause I loved it so much. I’ve also gone to some nice events here too. Perfect for the discerning crowd who like the finer things.
Note it closes over the summer months.

11. At.mosphere at Burj Khalifa, Downtown
The Burj Khalifa is one of the most iconic buildings in the world! Of course, At.Mosphere has to be one of the top restaurants in Dubai with a view!
Located on the 122nd floor, you’ll be 442 meters (1450 ft) off the ground! This is certainly the highest restaurant in Dubai you can dine in. It had a full refurbishment in 2023.
Both the lounge and restaurant serve a good selection of dishes, including steaks, seafood and pasta.
I highly recommend visiting at night, as there’s just something magical about seeing it all lit up on an evening.
The Decadence Breakfast is one of my Dubai bucket list items, so why not have some wagyu bacon and eggs with truffle for breakfast? You’re in Dubai, after all!
This restaurant is fully enclosed and is one of the best fine-dining high-end restaurants Dubai has to offer!
Insider tip – During the less busy season, I’ve called At.Mosphere and they’ve offered to drop the minimum spend for the none window seats in the restaurant. So it’s worth calling to ask!

12. Highest View Lounge at Gevora Hotel, Trade Centre
This is the world’s tallest hotel, standing at 356 meters (1,167ft) and an amazing 75 floors. The Highest View Lounge is the name of the Gevora restaurant and is located on the top floor of the hotel.
If you love heights, you certainly won’t be disappointed! It’s one of the best lounges in Dubai for the view! It feels very unique to be up this high in the open air.
Unlike most other lounges, they offer quite a wide range of food, everything from seafood and grills to soups and pasta.
There is a minimum spend of 65 AED per person for breakfast until 1 pm or 100 AED per person for dinner from 5 pm to 3 am.

13. Cé La Vi at Sky Views Address, Downtown Dubai
If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Dubai with a view, Ce La Vi was added to the Dubai scene in 2020 and had already been a success in Singapore.
Located in the Address Sky View Hotel, which is a beautiful 5-star hotel with a view of the Burj Khalifa. The hotel is similar to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel also in Singapore. I remember driving past and seeing the connecting bridge with an infinity pool slowly come together!
All the way up on the 52nd floor. You can enjoy a similar menu with more of a contemporary Asian flare. You’ll also find steak and contemporary Italian on the menu. What can I say? The Dubai scene and the people tend to love the same dishes done well over and over again.
It’s hugely popular and gets booked in advance, so you’ll need to plan ahead if you want to go here. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options.

14. Level 43 Sky Lounge at Four Points by Sheraton, Trade Centre
Yet another open-air rooftop option, this stunning lounge, is on the 43rd floor. Hence the name! This time with incredible views over Trade Center, DIFC and Downtown.
Mostly I recommend this place for the view and to go when they have special offers. They have lots of happy hours, ladies’ nights and selected drinks nights.
The food can be a bit hit or miss, along with the customer service, but the offers are really good! Serving selections of sushi and a mix of International dishes.

15. Iris at Meydan Grandstand, Meydan
Iris was previously located in The Oberoi (now called Anantara Downtown) Business Bay and moved to its current location in Meydan in November 2019. Both venues had incredible views and is yet another option to add to the list of restaurants with a view of Burj Khalifa!
Slightly further from Downtown, Meydan offers superb views of the entire Downtown Dubai skyline. This lively open-air lounge is very popular with Dubai residents and remained a popular night spot for a long time, which is not easy to do in Dubai!
In terms of the food, it’s a real mix with sliders, Japanese, Mexican, Steak and Continental dishes. It’s bound to have at least one dish that takes your fancy, no matter what style of food you or your friends like.

16. Mi Amie at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Trade Centre
You might have seen this one all over social media, as it’s got one of the best views right next to the Museum of The Future. Making it a super cool and unique place to enjoy some food.
Part of Jumeirah Group hotels, you know you’ll be getting great service and great food, serving a mix of Japanese, Italian and Asian dishes. Shisha is also available.
It’s a Miami-inspired concept with al fresco dining and live music. The venue is energetic and fun.

17. Eat Well at Zabeel
This one is very different from the other options on the list, if you want something very casual but still with a great view. This is the place for you. It’s both a cafe in Dubai and a healthy eating restaurant.
It gets overlooked due to its location and it’s not somewhere you’d accidentally come across. When driving here, you may even wonder if you’re in the right place as it stands alone just off the E66.
It’s suitable for families with children’s activity areas to entertain and great tasting healthy food; it’s my vote as the best lunch in Dubai.
So what about the view? It has an amazing panoramic view of Downtown Dubai on the first floor; you’ll need to head up those stairs as there is a smaller cafe section on the ground floor.
They also serve vegan and gluten-free options along with serving a seasonal menu.
It’s also rumoured to be one of Sheikh Mohammed’s favourite health food cafes, plus it is pretty near to his palace. If it’s good enough for a Sheikh, you can bet the food is tasty!

18. Al Dawaar Revolving Restaurant at Hyatt Regency, Deira
I can’t believe we’re at number 18! Yes! For restaurants with a view, Dubai is a city of many choices!
This incredible rotating rooftop restaurant often gets overlooked, and I’m not sure why. Incredibly, it was built in the 1980s and sits on the 25th floor.
The restaurant is buffet-style, serving a mixture of Middle Eastern and international cuisine.
The food is great, and there is a wide variety of options. I personally love Oysters and these are available as part of the buffet. So yes! Unlimited oysters. You may or may not see me here carrying several plates of Oysters to my table.
It’s certainly a bucket list item with an ever-changing view as you rotate. Makinh it one of the most unique, best rooftop restaurants in Dubai!

19. Thiptara at Palace Downtown, Downtown Dubai
Focused on Thai food and serving Asian fusion cuisine, this restaurant has an amazing outdoor terrace that overlooks the stunning Dubai Fountains.
Indulge in some delicious Bangkok-style seafood. Aptly named ‘Magic at the Water’, it offers an enchanting dining experience complemented by its romantic surroundings. This is definitely a great restaurant for a date or a romantic occasion with all of its low-level lighting.

20. OFK at Fashion Avenue, Dubai Mall
There are just so many of the best restaurants with a view in Dubai, and this section of Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall houses quite a few of them.
OFK is definitely one of my favourites in this part, overlooking Dubai fountains and Downtown Dubai.
OFK stands for Open Flame Kitchen, offering a mix of grills, burgers, pasta and Asian dishes. These types of foods seem to be really popular with Khaleeji nationals, hence why so many restaurants in Dubai seem to serve this mix of dishes, along with catering to an international crowd.

This is both a fun place to go and romantic. They have unique dinghies right on the water, but make sure to take some mosquito repellent so you don’t end up covered in bites like me!
